INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1- Your tools = Phillips Screw Drive, One Drill bit size 1/4, Power Drill, and Ladder, and pencil or black marker.
2- Check package for all parts. See Parts List.
3- Look from inside your garage with door open for best location nearest a power outlet.
Then look where is the best location to mount the first light. Remember when looking out from inside the garage is like looking out from the Bridge. The right side is Starboard, GREEN Light.
4- Mark the spot. Measure this spot from the distance away from the side of the door opening and height. Use these measurements to mark on the front of the garage. Use the same measurement for the opposite side, left side when looking out from garage, Port side, RED light.
5- Drill your first hole from the outside of the garage for the RED light, since you’ve just marked that location. Move the ladder back to the other side and drill the hole for the GREEN light.
6- Get the GREEN Light.
You will see a green dot on the back. Place the light on to the white backing piece.
7- Insert the two screws in the light.
Push the two wires, Red and Black, thru the hole you drilled. With Power Drill, screw the light on to the garage with power drill with your Phillip’s head drive bit. Be sure to push the Shrink Tubing to the tip of the wires and then push into hole.
8- Move the ladder into the garage and make the connection to the GREEN light with the already placed, two wire connectors from the 18 foot wire. Push the Red with Red connector and Black with Black connector. Just pick up the blue tap on connector, all the way up, insert wire, close tap.
9- Bring the other end of the 18 foot wire to the RED light and connect the two red wires, one from the Red light and the other from the 7 foot wire. Note, now you are using the 3 connector piece. Now connect the two black wires from the same ones from the Red light and 7 foot wire. See picture below.
10- Connect the remaining end of the 7 foot wire to the Power Supply, again the two wire connectors.
11- Plug the Power Supply into the Timer.
12- Now you need to plug the Timer into a wall outlet or to an extension cord. The lights should be on now. Unplug to turn the lights off. Now set the Timer for your Dusk to Dawn time. Follow the instructions with the Timer.
